Radio Eden was founded in 1999 and has since worked on projects in Uganda, Ukraine, Equatorial Guinea, Roswell-USA, England and South Africa. In November 2008 Radio Eden launched a satellite radio station reaching out to Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. In 2010 we have expanded the service on two more satellites to cover 90% of the world's population.

From 4-6th November the annual Vision in Action conference headed by John Noble was taking place at the Hayes in Swanwick. Radio Eden provided live coverage for 3 days covering the events. The conference was attended by about 200 attendees.

From the 28 to the 30th of October 11 - The Good News Broadcasting Association had their annual conference. The conference was well attended with over 160 attendees and a range of excellent speakers.. Radio Eden provided live coverage from Saturday lunch time onwards. We noticed that web access from all over the reception area on the day reflecting listener interest went through the roof.

Researching the cost of a satellite installation in the Ukraine the cost for a complete installation in Kharkiv, Eastern Ukraine is only $100 including a dish, several LNB's and the receiver and of course the installation performed by a trained dish installer. If you happen to live in the United Kingdom you can now buy Satellite Kits including a digital receiver, a dish, LNB and all the cables and mounting brackets for only £25 (about $40). It seems as the world is going HD the old standard receivers are sold off really cheap. Why not go for it and get to listen to Radio Eden and a lot of other interesting channels on Eurobird 9. For most councils in England you are permitted to install several dishes if the wall where they are installed is not facing the street. On the street facing wall you are only allowed one dish. - UKCMA - NCM Music Festival in Leighton Buzzard UK (Feb

Live coverage from the concert was again to be heard on the Radio Eden Network. This time we managed to broadcast in real time without delay. Two days with a range of artists from Gospel choirs to rock and country stars were heard at the event. Bad news was that the founder of the UKCMA/NCM Paul Davies could not attend due to poor health.

For just a 6 months period we are trialling a 30 minutes session every two days on Hotbird 6. All of our broadcasters are covered on the service. It will be interesting to see what response it will receive. We are always looking at ways to expand our service.
- Radio Eden has moved East - Hello Moldova! (Dec 2010)
At Radio Eden we have noticed that a great deal of our audience are from the East of the former iron curtain. As matter of fact the highest number of listeners are from Russia. Irina from Chisinau in Moldova has joined forces with us and is now our audio editor in Moldova. Irina is also the editor for our russian language programs.

The conference was well attended with many seminars with several hundred visitors. Radio Eden did a live coverage for the weekend.
- GNBA Swanwick conference - great
Success (Oct 2010)Radio Eden covered the three day event from
the conference centre in Swanwick. All equipment wored fine and the
feed from the main hall proved to be of highest standard audio. We
had some challenging moments when a wireless audio link from one of
the smaller conference rooms dropped in and out.

It seems that much more interest in the service was created by extending our reach onto Galaxy 19. We have noticed the website access from the US, Columbia, Mexico and Canada went sky high into figures we havn't seen before. We have also had a notable increase in site access from Japan, Malaysia and India suggesting that our IS10 service is gaining in popularity.
- Radio Eden now on Glorystar Satellite Network (July
2010)
On 15th July Radio Eden went into partnership with the Glorystar satellite network in the USA. Glorystar provides satellite equipment which is pretuned to Christian and family friendly TV and Radio channels. Glorystar clients do not have to pay a subscription charge for the service but just a one off payment for the equipment and the installation. There are about 60 Christian channels on the Network. - Radio Eden now on Galaxy 19 (June
2010)
On 30th June 10 we took the opportunity to expand our service even further. At Radio Eden we are saying hello to 480 million Americans in Canada, the USA, Mexico and Central America who can now listen to us. There are still a few regions left in the World where Radio Eden cannot be heard mainly South America , New Zealand, Eastern Australia and some parts in Western Africa. The rest of world can access our services.

- Radio Eden now in Intelsat 10 (Feb 2010)
In February Radio Eden started broadcasting via Intelsat 10 now covering most of the Far East, Africa and some parts of Australia in addition to our existing coverage.
- New Christian Music Event in Leighton Buzzard (Feb 2010)
Radio Eden did an almost live coverage of the New Christian Music event at Leighton Buzzard on 13th and 14th February. The event was aired with a three hours delay. A lot of artists present at the event were interviewed by RE.
